Terms of Service

Autumn consists of the joinautumn.com website and the Autumn Chrome extension (together, the "Service"). The Service scores grocery products against the health condition you select, suggests healthier alternatives where swap support is available, and applies medication-aware safety checks across your profile.

By creating an account, installing the extension, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom to use Autumn. The Service is designed around UK grocery retailers and UK product data.

You need an Autumn account to use personalised scoring features. We use passwordless authentication, including emailed magic links and verification codes. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account.

You may delete your account at any time. When you do, your personal and health data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Autumn provides nutritional information and decision-support tools. It does not provide medical advice and is not a medical device.

Scores and swap suggestions are based on published nutritional guidance, including sources such as NICE, SACN, and FSA thresholds, together with current product data from supported retailers. They are not a substitute for advice from your GP, dietitian, pharmacist, or specialist clinician.

Product data such as ingredients, allergens, and nutrition values comes from retailer sources and public databases. We work to keep this information current, but we cannot guarantee that every listing is complete, accurate, or up to date. If you have a serious food allergy or intolerance, always check the product packaging before purchase.

Drug-nutrient safety checks are based on known interactions from published sources and do not cover every possible interaction. Always follow your prescribing clinician's advice.

You agree not to:

• reverse-engineer the Autumn extension or scoring system;
• use the Service to scrape or systematically download retailer product data;
• create derivative products from Autumn scoring data;
• share your account access with anyone else; or
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Autumn works with supported UK grocery retailer websites. Retailer support, product coverage, and data completeness vary by retailer and may change without notice.

We do not guarantee that every product on a supported retailer will have a score or a swap suggestion. Retailer site changes may temporarily affect the Service.

The Autumn name, branding, scoring methodology, and software are Autumn's intellectual property. Product data displayed through the Service belongs to the relevant retailers and data providers. Your personal health data belongs to you.

The Service is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Autumn is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including health outcomes, shopping decisions, or allergic reactions.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You may stop using Autumn at any time by uninstalling the extension and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or misuse the Service.

We may update these terms from time to time. If a material change is made, we may notify you through the extension, website, or email. Continued use of the Service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
